My Partner In Crime!

We met 2 years back in college. You were my first North-Eastern friend. At first, I realised you didn’t like me, but then I got to know that you are just shy. You introduced me to K-Pop and K-Dramas. I fell in love with them instantly. I swear, I shall always be thankful to you for that.

You have always lend your helping hands without any terms or conditions. Whenever I needed you, you were there for me. I don’t know if you remember, but you were the first ever person whom I called and cried over my late mother’s deteriorating health condition. I didn’t tell you why I’m crying… I just cried and you let me.I even asked you to say “everything will be alright” to calm my racing heart down. Then we went on to talk about our celebrity crushes.

I laugh so hard at your cute broken Hindi and then you get angry when I make fun about it. I don’t understand one thing why are you so self conscious? You are one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen or met. You look pretty even without make up. I always bully you on your height and you shout my name to hit me. There has not been a day when we have not pulled each other’s legs.

You are my classmate cum friend cum flatmate. We go everywhere together. The way we behave at supermarkets is so childish and stupid. Sometimes, I cook for you and sometimes you cook for me. Sometimes, we eat out… okay, that’s a different story altogether. Otherwise everyone will get to know how much we eat in a day!

A big heartfelt thankyou for being my partner in crime. For always making me smile and being there like an angel. You are the amazing just the way you are. Never ever change yourself for anyone or anything. Always be the sunshine in people’s life. I love you to the moon and back.
