The Divine “OM”
The Divine OM is in you and me. It gives you peace and satisfaction which can not be gained by money.Chanting OM is like gathering your power back. It increases the concentration and keep’s you focus on your work.
You can feel the peace of OM by a simple practice. You need to just sit comfortably in an upright posture. Close your eyes, Inhale deeply and say(chant) OM. In this process try to focus on OM. The more you focus more you feel the inner peace and joy.
“OM” is said to be the reflection of the absolute reality. Experts says that OM is denoted as “Adi Anadi”, without beginning or the end and embracing all that exists. Observing the “OM” letter by letter it is, A-U-M that represents the divine energy (Shakti) united in its three elementary aspects:
- Bhrahma Shakti (the power of creation)
- Vishnu Shakti (the power of preservation)
- Shiva Shakti (the power of liberation, and/or destruction).
On chanting the A-U-M mantra different regions of the body are activated. The areas focused by A-U-M are :
The energy moves sequentially activating these regions. It starts from the abdomen and moves up to the brain, thereby channelizing energy and activating the spinal cord & brain.
