Salute to the Indian Navy ! Celebrating 43rd Navy Day today !!

May the lord of the Oceans be auspicious unto us!

Today on 4th Dec 2014 Indian Navy celebrates its Grand 43rd Navy day. A day remembered and celebrated in memory of the start of Operation Trident during the Indo-Pak war of 1971. Indian navy successfully sank 3 warships near the Port of Karachi in that night attack. It was the very first time our Navy used  Anti Ship Missiles in the region to pin down the hostile ships. Salute to thee for the courage and bravery they always show, Salute to thee the sharks of oceans and warriors on the Indian coast !

Every year in Vizag on the RK beach its a week long event showcasing the grandeur of Indian Navy exhibiting warships, planes, tanks, etc. check this gallery containing images of INS Kursura (S20) now a public museum:


A must visit museum it is and on this auspicious day its truly decent place to visit.
