Karbonn K9 Smart Selfie Smartphone launched in India

One of the largest Domestic handset maker Karbonn on the last Wednesday unveiled its all-new K9 Smart Selfie smartphone. As the name suggests, the handset is targeted at for the obsessed users of selfie. It sports matte finish and will be available in two color options of Black and Blue.

The smartphone has been priced at the cost of Rs. 4,890, and is now available in India. The K9 Smart Selfie features 4G along with VoLTE (voice over LTE) support which is a great addition at this price. The smartphone will be available from the ecommerce platform.

Display and Processor

The K9 Smart Selfie features a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display and is powered and supported by 1.1GHz quad-core processor coupled with the RAM of 1GB. There will be 8GB of storage and it will support expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB).

Camera

On the camera front, the K9 Smart Selfie sports an 8-megapixel primary rear camera at the front for taking selfies and video calling. There is also a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash.

Battery

It is backed by a battery capacity of 2300mAh which is a removable one on which the company is claimed to come with standby time of up to 180 hours and talk time of up to 8 hours.

Some of the connectivity options

Connectivity options include Bluetooth, GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, VoLTE (4G), and Wi-Fi. The dual-SIM device runs on Android version 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The company is also boasting of an inbuilt photo and video editor on the device.
