From 190 miles per hour to a drastic halt !
Losing focus while driving is always fatal and when in middle of a racing, its an invitation to mishaps and accidents. Same happened at Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway. Austin Dillon got out safely from this dreadful accident at last lap. His miraculous escape from this deadly crash was of more concern after the race.
Austin Dillon had bruises on his forearm and on tail bone. After getting medical aid from infield care center he said,
“I just think the next thing is that we are going to have to make this racing even more safe, We are running 200 mph and pushing each other around out there and it’s just bound to happen. No matter how safe we can make the sport, when you are going that amount of speed, things happen.”
Winner, Earnhardt said
“I didn’t care about anything except for just figuring out who was OK, and then we pulled down to pit road there, Jimmie got out of his car, come around, and that’s the first thing we talked about. He was frightened, as well, and we were just so … we were just really wanting some information about everybody.”
Of-course this incident is most concerned as at such a speed, death is certain.
